Hi thereCan't believe how quickly time has passed!! So sorry for the delay in our update.
Firstly, I want to wish you all a very happy New Year. At the moment, I am on my own in Tenerife as Daniel has gone to Texas in the States to promote Branson where he performs every November. He will be back on Tuesday and we will stay here until the 24th January. The weather is beautiful and I believe it has been dreadful in Ireland! That's the beauty of being here in January. I have been here since 15th December. Mum and Dad came to me for Christmas dinner and we had a lovely time. Michael was here too but Siobhan was in Australia. I missed her but i'm glad she is doing some travelling and enjoying herself. Daniel came over here on 27th December and we had another sort of Christmas dinner with him! We had some friends staying with us over the New Year and we had great fun. They all played golf so Daniel was off most days playing golf. Would you believe he got a "hole in one" which is something that happens very rarely in a golfers life!!!!! He was delighted and we celebrated well that night.
We will be going to Florida at the beginning of Febuary for a cruise with some more friends. We then go on the second cruise the week after, which Daniel will be performing on. We are both really looking forward to it as it is something we have never done before. We then head onto Australia and New Zealand, so it will be a very busy time travelling. After all of that Daniel will take it easy for a few months. We have no plans yet of what we will do but that will be nice in itself! Not having anything planned!!
Well I'm sure you are all wondering where I took Daniel for his birthday?!! I decided that we would stay in Ireland because we only had 3 days and Daniel is always flying somewhere or other. We went to The K Club which is a beautiful country house just outside Dublin. It was all decorated for Christmas and each room had an open log fire in it. It was just magical. We had a beautiful suite which also had a fire and a Christmas tree in it. We spent the first day in the hotel spa where we had a few treatments and just generally relaxed. The next day, a few close friends joined us for dinner which Daniel knew nothing about. He was absolutely delighted. We had a lovely evening. I surprised him with a new car which completely shocked him!! All in all, we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes which Daniel appreciated very much.
